It wasn’t the full-blown reunion fans have been hoping for, but all five Spice Girls regrouped over the weekend to spice up Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday.

Former soccer star David Beckham filmed his wife and her onetime bandmates Melanie C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner dancing to the girl group’s hit song Stop as they marked the special occasion in London Saturday night.

“Best night ever!” Victoria captioned a clip of their performance shared to Instagram. “Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.

“I mean come on x @victoriabeckham @melaniecmusic @officialmelb @emmaleebunton @gerihalliwellhorner 💚💛🧡💜💙🩵🩷🤍,” David captioned his post of the same video.

The surprise reunion comes 30 years after the Spice Girls got together back in 1994. After going on hiatus in 2000, the quartet last sang together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics.

The group toured as a four-piece outfit in 2019 without Victoria, who skipped that trek due to her work as a designer.

“I’ll always be a Spice Girl, and I’m so proud of everything I achieved. I’m proud of them. It’s going to be the best show,” she told Good Morning America at the time. “In spirit, I will absolutely be there.”

As Saturday’s get-together racked up over 13 million views on Victoria’s Instagram page, fans thanked David for capturing the impromptu performance “the entire planet has been waiting for.”

“You win the internet tonight,” one comment read, while another fan wrote, “I’m absolutely in love with this moment. Back on tour please.”

“We love you when you enjoy being Posh Spice,” a third person cheered.

Ahead of her birthday party, Victoria posted photos of her posing with David and their four children before they left for her party writing, “Can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much.”

Despite the reunion likely only being a one-off, many commenters held out hope that the fivesome might have bigger plans in store. After all, Mel B has been teasing for years that all five Spice Girls will eventually get back together.

“We’re constantly talking about it. The girls have had meetings and it’s something we all passionately want to do,” the singer told OK! Magazine in 2021 (per the UK Mirror).

And last September, Mel went a step further suggesting to Extra that Beckham is now “on board” with a reunion.

“Us five are working on something that is going to be announced soon,” she added during an appearance on the Today show.
