Enmax Power Corp. president Jana Mosley will leave her post at the Calgary-based utility this September to lead Toronto Hydro Corp., the Ontario utility announced Tuesday.
After nearly a decade with Enmax, Mosley will join Toronto Hydro as president and CEO starting Sept. 3.

Mosley will take the reins from Anthony Haines, who has been president and CEO of the company since 2009. Haines will remain with Toronto Hydro until the end of the year to help with the transition.

In a statement to Postmedia, Enmax touted Mosley’s work with the Calgary power company and said it wishes her the best with Toronto Hydro. Her departure won’t affect Enmax operations, it said. Enmax did not provide details on who will succeed Mosely, though the utility will continue to be led by president and CEO Mark Poweska.
“Jana has been instrumental in leading various initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, optimizing operations, fostering innovation and elevating customer experience at Enmax,” the company wrote.
“No business, customer or operational impacts are presented by Jana’s departure, and we remain dedicated to safety, reliability and our customers.”
As president of Enmax Power, Mosely has been responsible for the utility’s regulated transmission and distribution business in Calgary and handles its power infrastructure, engineering and maintenance services.
Prior to Enmax, she consulted companies around the continent on electricity policy application, connection to the transmission grid and project management. Mosley is also a board director for the Western Energy Institute and previously held several positions at the Alberta Electric System Operator.
In 2022, Mosley was a winner at the Calgary Influential Women in Business Awards, where she won the award for large enterprise.
