Those intense winds we talked about earlier this week? Well, they’re back with a vengeance today — I’m not sure what which nature spirit or forgotten deity is upset with our fair city, but between the intense winds and the forecasted showers, someone’s not happy.

Their punishment includes 50 km/h winds — yes, you read that right — starting early this morning, with a high of 10 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers throughout the day. Thankfully all that bluster will dissipate overnight, the winds dying back down to 15 km/h. Thursday will have calmer winds but will be a much chillier day overall, with a high of 2 C and a wind chill of -6. Friday and Sunday will bring more rain and flurries, so keep those umbrellas close by.
