Gaza’s Health Ministry has said on Wednesday that a second Israeli bombing raid in two days has killed and wounded “dozens” more civilians in the territory’s largest refugee camp, Jabalia.
The Ministry said that “dozens of martyrs and injured in a bombing by the occupation planes.”
Images obtained by AFP shows major apocalyptic damage and rescuers said “whole families” have been killed in the Israeli bombing raid on Wednesday.

On Tuesday night the Jabalia refugee camp was hit in a barrage of air strikes on the densely populated camp which is situated neat to Gaza City.
Several apartment buildings were destroyed and women and children were being pulled out of the rubble as rescuers desperately dug with their hands to find survivors.
The Hamas controlled Ministry of Health in Gaza said that more than 50 people were killed in the Israeli airstrike and around 150 were wounded.
“We are still counting the numbers and the people,” Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan told Al Jazeera.
“We are still trying to find the people under the rubble. Maybe at the end of that, tomorrow, we can talk about the exact numbers and maybe some names.”
The EU Commissioner Josep Borrell said, “Building on EU Council’s clear stance that Israel has the right to defend itself in line with international humanitarian law and ensuring the protection of all civilians.
“I am appalled by the high number of casualties following the bombing by Israel of the Jabalia refugee camp.”
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia blasted Israel “in the strongest way possible the inhumane targeting by the Israeli occupation forces of the Jabalia refugee camp.”
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “The expansion of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip to include civilian objects, like hospitals, schools, population centres and shelters for displaced people, is a dangerous escalation in the course of confrontations, which would undermine mediation and de-escalation efforts.”
“We are horrified by news coming from Jabalia camp where high numbers of people have reportedly been killed by an Israeli airstrike,” Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres, or MSF), whose staff was at al-Shifa Hospital, where many were being treated, wrote on the X.
