You need to be in your car to turn on Dog Mode on your Tesla, which comes as a standard issue with all models of Teslas. Because this is a mode that adjusts the temperature of your vehicle, you have to go into the climate settings for the car. You can access this by tapping on the driver’s side temperature on the LED screen on the dashboard. Once you have opened this, you will see — along the right side of the screen — a column with three different modes in which you can put your car. The middle one is Dog Mode. After tapping that, you can adjust the temperature to what your dog prefers to sit in while you’re out.
Turning off Dog Mode is even easier than turning it on because you don’t have to press a single button. Once you return to your vehicle and start driving, Dog Mode will automatically turn off. After all, you don’t need to let anyone know that the dog is okay if you are in the car with it. In total, you just need to make two simple taps with your finger to make your dog’s experience in your vehicle a whole lot safer and more comfortable.
