The Video Game Module is currently available from the Flipper store for $49.00. It comes with the Raspberry Pi RP2040 Microcontroller, which is compatible with a wide range of Raspberry Pi Pico projects and turns the Flipper Zero into a gaming device. It also adds a variety of other features.
It has video output so you can attach the console to your TV and motion sensors that work via a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer with open API. This means that there are some games that will have Joy-Con-like motion controls. In terms of connectivity, the module sports a GPIO port and a USB-C port. It can even be used in a Standalone Mode, which allows you to use the module on its own without even needing to attach the Flipper Zero so long as you have another source of Raspberry Pi Pico compatible firmware.
Like the Zero, the module also utilizes open-source firmware and schematics, so homebrew coders will be able to add their own software and hardware upgrades in the future. That said, this module is still considered something of a novelty since most people who are interested in the Flipper Zero will likely still be buying it for its hacking potential rather than its gaming capabilities.
