Fullcast, a software startup that helps companies manage and automate their revenue-generating operations, is changing hands and its headquarters location after an acquisition deal.
Founded in 2017 out of Seattle, the company announced this week that it is relocating to Salt Lake City after raising a fresh $34 million investment round.
Ryan Westwood, who co-founded and led Simplus, is now CEO of Fullcast. He’s joined by former Simplus execs Isaac Westwood, Amy Cook and Lance Evanson. They just invested $8 million into the company.
“We aim to take an active M&A strategy and acquire other relevant go-to-market companies in addition to Fullcast, merging them all into the Fullcast platform,” Cook told GeekWire.
Fullcast’s original founders, former Microsoft and Salesforce colleagues Dharmesh Singh and Bala Balabaskaran, will remain at the company as chief customer officer and chief technology officer, respectively. They are still described as “co-owners.”
Singh and Balabaskaran previously raised $7.5 million for Fullcast, including a $4 million Series A round in 2021. They will remain in the Seattle area. Evanson is also based in the Seattle area.
Epic Ventures — an existing Fullcast backer — led the new investment round, which is described as a seed round. Other backers include Companyon Ventures in Boston, Firsthand Alliance in New York City, and True Blue Partners and Sepio Capital in the Bay Area. The round includes $4 million in debt from Silicon Valley Bank.
Ryan Westwood was previously CEO and chairman of PcCareSupport. He’s currently chairman of Provar and Lumary.
Simplus, which launched in 2014 and helped companies with their Salesforce operations, sold to Infosys for $250 million in 2020.
