Parse Biosciences. a Seattle biotech startup developing single-cell sequencing products, announced the acquisition of Biomage, a Scotland-based software developer for single-cell RNA data analysis.
- Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Parse will bring on about 10 employees from Biomage, bringing its total headcount to more than 100 people.
- Biomage CEO Adam Kurkiewicz, who helped launch the company in 2019, is now head of bioinformatics at Parse Biosciences.
- Parse announced a $50 million capital infusion in December.
