Xbox showed gameplay for the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle during its Developer Direct show today. It is releasing this year for Xbox Series X/S and PC and will become available in Game Pass as soon as it launches.
Developer MachineGames has made its name in recent years with the Wolfenstein series. Just like those games, this is a first-person title.
Gameplay shows an Indiana Jones similar to the one from the original trilogy, with plenty of punching, set pieces and a good bit of whip play.
The story takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Troy Baker, famous in games as the voice of Joel in The Last of Us, is taking on the role of Indiana Jones (with the in-game model still based on Harrison Ford’s likeness).
