Ikumi Nakamura, veteran of Tango Gameworks and Platinum, appeared at The Game Awards to show off the trailer for Kemuri, a project in the works at Unseen. According to host Geoff Keighley, the game doesn’t currently have a publisher, but Nakamura chose to unveil the cinematic trailer for the title at The Game Awards.
According to the information in the description of the game’s release trailer, Kemuri takes place in a city where yokai hide among humans. Yokai hunters use their Fox Windows to see the yokai — which appears to be shown in the trailer by the hunters making frames with their fingers. The game has a co-op mode, and players can collect yokai powers and “face even greater challenges.”
As yet, we have no information on the game’s exact genre or launch window.
