The current list of GM’s EV charging centers can be located using Pilot Flying J’s dedicated website. A glance at the website indicates that the first of these stations is spread far and wide across the continental United States. The first states to get these chargers include Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Virginia, Oklahoma, California, Florida, and Idaho.
GM expects to extend the coverage to more than 35 locations and 100 charging stalls by the end of 2023 and reach more than 200 locations by the end of 2024. The eventual goal is to set up at least 2,000 high-power, fast-charging stalls at up to 500 Pilot and Flying J travel centers across the U.S.
In addition to the website, these EV charging stations can be conveniently located using GM’s dedicated EV apps. Additionally, these charging stations will be integrated into Pilot’s myRewards Plus app, the EVgo app, and PlugShare, ensuring effortless accessibility for drivers.
Beyond these practical advantages, GM has secured exclusive benefits for GM vehicle owners at these charging stations. These privileges include reserving a charger in advance, securing discounted charging rates, and enjoying exclusive discounts on purchases made at Pilot and Flying J stations nationwide. These exclusive benefits are set to be rolled out in the spring of 2024.
