Five-month-old startup Dopple.ai recently surpassed a 55-minute average user time beating out top social networks and video sites’ average user times.
Dopple.ai is an AI entertainment platform where users can chat with their favorite characters (Dopples). The Dopples are entirely driven by AI and feature distinct personalities that keep users coming back.
The average time spent on top social networks and video sites is between 23 minutes and 49 minutes.
“We started with a 25-minute average user time in the app and we were happy. So to increase that to 55 minutes in the last month has been awesome and speaks to the immersive and addictive nature of AI chatbots,” said Dopple Labs Co-Founder Isaac Nakash.
Dopple’s active session time is almost 13% longer than the best social network’s user time. The AI entertainment space will continue to push what is possible when it comes to average daily usage. The novelty and personalities of AI chatbots provide more of an immersive “video game-like” experience than the traditional “social media” experience which is the hallmark of Web 2.0s. Dopple also has a feature called Dopple Create which allows users to create and personalize their very own Dopples. This has allowed Dopple to have 55-minute average user sessions.
The 55-minute average user time is not a fluke as Dopple also passed the 100 million messages mark months ahead of schedule. And that will only increase with the daily message rate continuing to grow.
To further increase adoption, Dopple is letting users generate unlimited images and voice messages as a part of their new Dopple+ offering.
Starting in February, users are able to access Dopple+ for $9.99/month or $59.99/year.
2,750 people already on the Dopple+ waitlist will be the first to get access to unlimited image generation, unlimited voice messaging, as well as the ability to skip the waiting room and utilize exclusive chat themes.
