Delete pre-installed apps on visionOS 1.1
Apple Vision Pro users may have noticed that most pre-installed Apple apps can’t be deleted, but that changes with visionOS 1.1.
Apple includes 15 pre-installed visionOS native apps, and only two could be deleted in the 1.0 release, Keynote and Encounter Dinosaurs. With visionOS 1.1, Apple allows users to delete eight other apps.
According to code discovered by AppleInsider in the visionOS 1.1 Release Candidate, users can now delete Apple TV, Music, Mindfulness, Freeform, Notes, Mail, Files, and Tips. That leaves Safari, Photos, Messages, and the App Store unremovable.
