Despite greater success in the children’s and creative Emmy awards, Apple TV+ took home a single trophy from the main ceremony.

The Emmy Awards are divided into categories that really mean the ceremony can concentrate on the actors, whose trophies that will get audiences watching the coverage. This year Apple TV+ did well in the less high-profile categories, but not in the main show.

Paul Walter Hauser won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, for his role in “Black Bird.” It was one of three acting award nominations for the show, including a posthumous nod for Ray Liotta.

In the case of the Emmys, it overall scored 10 awards across the categories. As well as the “Black Bird” acting award, Apple won five trophies at the Children’s and Family Emmys, while its documentary “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” took four creative awards.
