The Game Awards of 2023 are a wrap, and Baldur’s Gate 3 has won the top honor of Game of the Year. Larian’s Swen Vincke accepted the award in full armor.

With the plethora of excellent games having been released this year, many were honored in categories besides Game of the Year. For example, Alan Wake 2 won best narrative, while Tears of the Kingdom won best action-adventure game.
