The suspect in a pair of random stabbings that has left the community of White Rock on edge has now been charged with murder.
Dimitri Nelson Hyacinth, 27, was arrested April 30 and charged with aggravated assault, with police alleging he stabbed Jatinder Singh, the first victim, on April 21, while he was sitting on a bench along the boardwalk with his wife.

On Friday, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team announced new charges of second-degree murder in the death of a second victim, Kulwinder Singh Sohi, on April 23.
