Toronto Police are asking for help to find a suspect in the alleged sexual assault of a woman on a TTC bus earlier this month.

On May 2 at 4:15 p.m., police say a man and woman were on a transit bus in the Markham Rd. and Eglinton Ave. area when the man sexually assaulted the woman and then left the bus.

The wanted man is described as 50 to 60 years old and 5-foot-6, with a medium build. He was wearing a brown jacket with fur and police have released images.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 416-808-4300, or call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

POLICE SEIZE ‘GHOST’ FIREARM

Ontario Provincial Police have laid multiple charges after the seizure of a personally manufactured “ghost” firearm during a traffic stop in the Township of King.

On Sunday at 1, officers conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 400 southbound, south of Hwy. 9, and allegedly seized a loaded personally manufactured firearm, an extended magazine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Alexander Czerniatowicz, 19, of Toronto, faces 10 firearms-related offences as well as failure to comply with release order.

MAN SOUGHT IN STABBING

Cops are hunting a man after a stabbing late Monday in Scarborough.

Officers were called at 8:30 p.m. to Melford Dr. and Tapscott Rd. where a man in his 30s was found suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 30s, with long dreadlocks, and wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.

CARJACKING ARREST

Toronto Police have made arrests in a North York carjacking Tuesday morning.

Cops say suspects broke into a home in the Yonge St. and Steeles Ave. area at 5:30 a.m. and stole a vehicle.

They were later arrested in the area of Warden Ave. and Denison St. by York Regional Police and the K9 unit.

There were no injuries.
