An early morning shooting downtown has left one person dead and two others injured.
Toronto Police say the incident happened in the Queen St. W. and Portland St. area, east of Bathurst St., at 2:36 a.m. Thursday.

They say “three people were shot out front of an establishment.”
One person was transported to hospital, where they died, while two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled in a dark vehicle.
No other information was immediately available on the shooter or victims.
Queen St. was closed in the area for the investigation.
