Quick quiz: what’s your favourite dinosaur? You said Stegosaurus, right? Right!?

There’s actually no right answer when you don’t have to pick just one: From cute baby dinosaurs like Tyson the T-Rex and Trixie the Triceratops to the towering Spinosaurus and 24-metre Apatosaurus, blast-from-the-way-back-past Jurassic Quest is back.

Claws, teeth and, yes, feathers are all on display at the travelling dinosaur experience — including walking and stationary dinosaur rides, informative hat-wearing dinosaur trainers and the Tricera-tots soft play space for the tiniest of dinophiles.

Basically, if you or your child is into any part of the 165-million-year history represented in this combo museum-playground-funhouse-classroom, there’s no other place to be this weekend. And don’t forget the gift shop, of course.

Standard admission tickets for kids and adults at jurassicquest.com is $36.07, including fees. For seniors 65 and older, it’s $30.12. You can also buy tickets at the door.

Kids unlimited admission, which gets them on the dinosaur rides, Jurassic Jeeps, fossil dig and most of the inflatable attractions, is $56.08 — maximum weight 140 lbs — and socks must be worn on the inflatable attractions. Otherwise, there’s an extra charge per activity if you want to be selective.

The exhibition is open noon – 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday, all taking place at Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Ave.).

Plan for one or two hours in the space, depending on how many activities you dive into, and know that the mornings and afternoons on the weekend are busiest.

Now back to that important conversation we were having about how Stegosauruses are super awesome …
