“Engaging with participants will foster a dynamic exchange of ideas to enhance our community services.”

The online program connects participants with industry leaders, enhances leadership and soft skills through teamwork and develops communication strategies aligned with organizational goals. The program culminates in an industry-sponsored capstone project, offering practical application of learned skills.

There will be nine modules where learners will be coached by industry experts across a variety of disciplines, in real-time, to gain practical experience and develop a leadership philosophy and style.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Town of Tecumseh for this virtual program,” said Jennie Atkins, executive director of the University of Windsor’s continuing education program.

“Their case scenarios will provide valuable opportunities for our learners to apply their skills.”

Participants will be challenged to inspire action in others by practicing hands-on tactics and acquiring the necessary skills to lead teams to successful outcomes.

Registration is open to current and aspiring managers, supervisors and industry leaders. Classes will be held online every Thursday from 5 to 8:30 p.m., from Oct. 17 to Dec. 12, 2024.
