Police say they surrounded the home, but “attempts to contact the male were unsuccessful.”
A search warrant was authorized and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team was dispatched. The release states officers entered the home and arrested the man, with a search revealing ammunition.
The Regina man was slated to make his first appearance on the new charges Wednesday in Regina provincial court.
