The story of a large, stolen, overturned rock drill on the side of Highway 101 is causing speculatiom, and some pranking, on the Sunshine Coast.

Since then, the rock drill has been nestled on the side of the highway, with many wondering about the logistics of removing such a hulking piece of machinery.
Now, in what appears to be a gag, someone has placed a “for sale” sign on the rock drill.
Prospective buyers however, may have been confused if they attempted to reach the seller using the phone number on the sign.
The number belongs to the RCMP non-emergency line.
RCMP media relations officer, Const. Karen Whitby confirmed that RCMP did not place the sign on the drill, and that the RCMP is not selling the drill.
The future of Sunshine Coast Highways newest landmark remains uncertain.
