Fresh off the football coaching fun film the Underdogs, multi-hyphenate hip hop magnate Snoop Dogg announces his latest West Coast road show that winds up in Vancouver on June 25. Expect to hear classics such as Drop It While It’s Hot and Who Am I (What’s My Name), as well as new tracks such as Bad Boys and whatever else Mr. Tha Dogg decides to add to the set list.

With the new single Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other landing this Friday, former Vancouver-resident Daniel Pitout, who performs as Orville Peck, announces his Warner Music debut Stampede. Known for his resonant voice and old school country sound, the artist is appearing pretty much unmasked in a lot of the new promotional photos. It’s not a full reveal, but suggests the artist might be headed that way in future.

St. Vincent All Born Screaming Tour

All Born Screaming is the new album from pop tunesmith St. Vincent. The full album drops April 26, with the debut single being the track Flea. Expect a trip through this intriguing singer/guitarist’s varied catalogue and probably some surprises on her coming tour. With acts ranging from Spoon, Yves Tumor, Momma, Eartheater and Dorian Electra all mentioned as support acts, the local date could be double-sweet.

Sam Hunt: Locked Up Tour
When: Sept. 18, 7:30 p.m.

Locked Up is the new EP from country singer Sam Hunt. It arrives April 5. The video for the clip finds the arena twanger telling a tale of getting tossed in the slammer after a night of dumbness and fearing he’s going to lose his lady. Naturally, things work out because it appears that she is wearing the judge’s robes or something. Expect Hunt and his crack band to deliver as they did at the singer’s last local gig.

Santigold

Philly alt-pop singer Santigold is touring in support of 2022’s acclaimed Spirituals, which boasted a veritable who’s who of top electronic pop producers such as Rostam, Boys Noize, SBTRKT and more. This means fans will finally get to hear hits such as Nothing and Shake, as well as the artist’s many back-catalogue bangers.

Heart Royal Flush Tour

Returning to the venue they first packed back in the days when Dreamboat Annie was everywhere on the radio, classic rockers Heart are back on the road for the band’s first major tour in five years. Joining lead belter Ann Wilson and guitar shredder Nancy Wilson is a who’s who of ’70s chart-toppers including Cheap Trick, Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, among others.
