The Saskatchewan Rush started off strong on Saturday night, getting out to a 3-0 lead in the first five-and-a-half minutes of their game against the host Colorado Mammoth in National Lacrosse League action, going on to win 15-7.
By the end of the opening period, thanks to three goals from Zach Manns, Saskatchewan had a commanding 6-3 and never let up their dominating performance.

The closest Colorado got to Saskatchewan after that point was when they closed the gap to 6-4 early in the second quarter, but the Mammoth were never able to narrow the score any further.
At the end of the game, Ryan Keenan had five goals and three assists for the Rush, while Robert Church picked up three goals and five assists, with Manns adding on three assists to go with his first-quarter goals.
In net, Frank Scigliano made 32 saves on 39 shots for Saskatchewan.
Meanwhile, Colorado started the game with Dillon Ward in net, but he was replaced earlier in the fourth quarter after stopping only 33 of 46 shots. His replacement, Tyler Carlson, then went on to make 11 saves on 12 shots in the time remaining.
The win improves Saskatchewan’s record to 4-5 and ninth in the NLL standings. They’ll look to earn another road victory on March 8 when they take on the host Buffalo Bandits (5-6).
