The Saskatchewan Rattlers and the host Edmonton Stingers were both undefeated at 3-0 entering their Canadian Elite Basketball League game Sunday.

However, after the dust settled, Edmonton was the only team without a loss as the Stingers defeated the Rattlers 93-77.

Saskatchewan kept the score close for the first five minutes of the game, but the Stingers started to pull away in the latter-half of the first quarter to take a 22-11 lead after the first 10 minutes.

By the half, the Rattlers had pulled the score close, only trailing by three points 40-37.

That didn’t last long as the Stingers outscored Saskatchewan 28-21 and 25-19 in the final two quarters.

Saskatchewan’s Elijah Harkness led both teams with a game-high 25 points, including four three-pointers.

The Rattlers will look to start a new winning streak on Wednesday when the visit the Calgary Surge.
