Police say they’ve linked another robbery to a suspect wanted since January and are asking the public for help identifying someone they believe may also be connected.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says the three robberies happened in the 2100 and 3100 blocks of Carling Avenue.

Police say in addition to the two previously reported robberies on January 26, they’ve linked a third robbery of an elderly victim on January 25 to the same male suspect. They’ve included an additional female suspect.

At around 7:50 p.m. on January 25, the male suspect approached an elderly woman in the 3100 block of Carling Avenue. Police say he ripped her purse from her and fled. At around 11:20 p.m. the victim’s debit cards were fraudulently used in the 3100 block of Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven.

The third victim wasn’t injured.

Police described the suspect as about 30 years old, between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten with and average build and facial hair. He also has a noticeable scar on the right side of his neck.
