Four Essex County drivers were charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired over the Easter weekend.
Essex County OPP arrested the drivers following traffic stops for a variety of alleged offences.

A 34-year-old person was stopped Saturday at 2:25 a.m., in Leamington after patrol officers said they witnessed a vehicle failing to stop for a stop sign on Albert Street.

Police said the driver was also charged with operating a vehicle with no licence and ailing to obey a traffic stop sign.
At approximately the same time, officers on Highway 3 in Essex said they clocked a vehicle travelling 145 kilometres per hour in an 80 kilometre zone.
A 36-year-old Kingsville driver also faces a stunt driving charge and a charge of having liquor readily available while driving.
Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers allegedly observed a vehicle driving erratically on Country Road 22 in Lakeshore.
The 59-year-old driver was arrested and charged.
Shortly after, at 2 a.m., officers allegedly witnessed another vehicle being driven erratically on County Road 22 in Tecumseh.
Police said they followed the vehicle to a residence, where the driver exited the vehicle and attempted to evade the officer before being arrested.
A 36-year-old Tecumseh resident faces an additional charge of resisting a peace officer.
All four drivers were released from custody and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges.
A 90-day administrative driver’s license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were also initiated for all four.
