A portion of Roland-Therrien Blvd. in Longueuil remained closed to traffic early Wednesday as local police investigated a collision between a motorcycle and a car that left one man dead Tuesday evening.
Longueuil police said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Roland-Therrien and des Ormeaux Blvds.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was thrown from his vehicle and taken to hospital in critical condition. He later died of his injuries.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was not injured.
The investigation will try to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision and whether any criminal conduct was involved.
