The Okotoks Oilers went the distance with the Brooks Bandits but were eliminated from the BCHL playoffs with a 5-1 loss on Tuesday night.
Rylan Brown scored and Christian Green made 41 saves for the fourth-seeded Oilers in the deciding Game 7 of the Alberta Division semifinal in Brooks.

Caelan Fitzpatrick had a hat-trick for the reigning three-time national champion Bandits. Nathan Freeand and Nick Peluso also tallied in the win, while Johnny Hicks made 22 saves.
The Oilers made the top-seeded Bandits earn the semifinal victory. Okotoks battled back to tie the series with wins in Games 2, 4 and 6.
Brooks moves on to face the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the division final.
