Emergency crews are searching a Strathmore lake for a man who disappeared into the water on Thursday evening.
Strathmore Mounties say they were called to Kinsmen Lake for a report of a man who was struggling and sunk below the surface after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Bystanders attempted to save the man but were unsuccessful, say RCMP
RCMP and Strathmore fire crews, alongside divers, attempted to locate the man but were unable to do so due to visibility issues.
Mounties urge the public to avoid the area as recovery efforts continue.
