RCMP is investigating a case of impaired driving after a pickup truck crashed into a road sign in Greater Victoria.
A witness saw an F350 pickup truck speeding when it jumped the curb onto the sidewalk and crashed into a street sign near Craigflower Road and Admirals Road in View Royal near Victoria just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, said West Shore RCMP.

In an ironic twist, the mowed-down sign read: “report impaired drivers.”
