Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman and a child.

Anna Musabyimana was reported missing to HRP from Trois-Rivières, Quebec on Monday.

Police said they have information leading them to believe she is in the Halifax area with her six-year-old daughter, Rebecca Irankunda.

Anna is described as Black, approximately 5’2″ tall, with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes.

Rebecca is described as Black with short black hair and brown eyes.

According to HRP, Anna’s first language is Kinyarwanda, speaks some Swahili and does not speak English.

There is no information to suggest that Anna and Rebecca have met with foul play but police and their family are concerned for their wellbeing.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
