One of the hardest-working blues rockers on the circuit since the breakout success of 1978s Move It On Over, George Thorogood and the Destroyers have played some epic shows at the Commodore Ballroom over the years.

The group will play two shows at the Commodore Ballroom on Aug. 20 and 21. Tickets go on sale on April 12, 10 a.m. at livenation.com.

Titled the Bad All Over the World — 50 Years of Rock Tour, the band featuring guitarist/lead singer Thorogood, longtime drummer Jeff Simon, bassist Billy Blough, rhythm guitarist Jim Suhler and blasting saxophonist Buddy Leach will draw from across the band’s long catalogue of classics such as Bad to the Bone, I Drink Alone and others.

Come prepared to dance the night away on the ballroom’s sprung dance floor after having one bourbon, one scotch and one beer. Or maybe two.
