City police are seeking tips and information regarding a newer-model Ford Bronco involved in a collision with a pedestrian earlier on Sunday.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. on March 31, a 24-year-old man attempted to cross from the south side of 104 Avenue to head north on 109 Street against the traffic light, before his friend pulled him back. At the same time, a newer dark-coloured Bronco travelling eastbound struck the 24-year-old man, knocking him to the ground, police said in a Friday release.

Emergency crews arrived on scene and treated and transported the man to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the driver didn’t stop and immediately turned south into an alley behind the Dorchester building, located at 10357 109 St.
Investigators have obtained CCTV footage of the Bronco, which shows the driver getting out of the vehicle to check for damage following the collision.
The EPS major collision investigation section released footage of the vehicle and the driver in hopes the public can help identify the suspect involved in the hit-and-run.
“We encourage the driver pictured in the video to contact us,” says major collision investigator Const. Jeffrey Strickland in a release.
“There could be visible damage to the right side of the Bronco, which the driver stopped to check for immediately following the collision.”
The driver is described as tall in stature, with light hair that appeared to be in a low bun or ponytail. The driver was wearing a light-blue, long-sleeve shirt and dark-coloured shorts at the time of the collision.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the driver of the Bronco to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
