Head coach Rick Tocchet admitted this week that Lindholm is dealing with some sort of ailment, without going into detail.

Whatever the issue is, Lindholm is apparently meeting with a specialist sometime in the coming days, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
“They’re managing it on a day-to-day basis,” Friedman confirmed.
“Hopefully they’ll get some clarity on what exactly is bothering him next week so he can get back to full health.”
The Canucks declined to comment to Postmedia about the report.
There aren’t many clues to go on about what might be bothering Lindholm. He appears to be skating fine and hasn’t looked out of sorts defensively.
He acknowledged to Glacier Media’s Daniel Wagner this week that he hasn’t been shooting enough and he struggled at the faceoff dot on Thursday against Montreal. Perhaps he’s dealing with hand or wrist issue, but he was dominant on faceoffs in the previous two games so it’s not clear.
