A 21-year-old Brampton man faces 12 charges, including robbery with a firearm and breach of probation, in connection with an armed home invasion last year.

It’s alleged four suspects forced their way into a Brampton residence near Sandalwood Parkway and McLaughlin Road on Nov. 25 where they made demands for money and property.

It’s also alleged one round was discharged from a firearm by the suspects and one victim was struck with the weapon itself.

The suspects fled the residence with some property. The victim sustained minor physical injuries and required medical attention.

Kashaun Grenier was arrested at a Brampton residence after a search warrant was executed. Peel Regional Police seized a 9mm firearm with ammunition and a quantity of suspected illegal drugs.

At the time of his arrest, Grenier had a weapons prohibition stemming from previous convictions for firearms possession, with the specific condition not to possess any weapons.

As a result of the search warrant, Brenna Nash, 26, also of Brampton was also charged with eight firearm and drug-related charges.

On March 8, 2024, investigators previously charged another suspect, Jessiah Farrell, in relation to the same home invasion and the investigation is still underway.
