The Moose Jaw Warriors took advantage of home-ice advantage Tuesday.

The Warriors erased a 1-0 first period deficit with three unanswered goals on their way to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Saskatoon Blades before 4,483 fans at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
With the victory, Moose Jaw takes a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-seven Western Hockey League Eastern Conference final.

Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Moose Jaw with Game 5 slated for Saskatoon on Friday night at SaskTel Centre.
After Grayden Siepmann gave the Blades a 1-0 lead midway through the opening period, Atley Calvert knotted the score with a power play marker early in the second.
Martin Rysavy gave the Warriors the lead at 7:14 of the third period before Denton Mateychuk added an empty-net goal, as insurance, with 1:13 left on the clock.
Shots on goal were 32-32 with the Blades pouring it on in the third with 16 shots on net after being outshot 27-16 through two periods.
Jackson Unger made 31 saves for the win. Evan Gardner stopped 29 shots for the Blades in the loss.
Moose Jaw was 1-for-2 on the power play. Saskatoon was 0-for-2.
