So whether you want to enjoy the final days of snow, or hide away from the cold, there is something for everyone.

Indigenous Science Night at Telus Spark Science Centre — Frequencies

Telus Spark Science Centre hosts Frequencies, which features Indigenous-focused programming from Knowledge Keepers, speakers, scientists, and artists for one night only. You can expect visual experiments, a dance party, a mini-market and so much more.

Head to the Science Centre earlier in the day to catch some of their other displays, like Da Vinci the Exhibition, Space: A Journey to the Moon and Beyond or Stephen’s Lab, where you can do hands-on experiments with real scientific tools.

Calgary Roughnecks Marvel Superhero Night

The Calgary Roughnecks play the Albany Firewolves Friday night, celebrating girls in the game. Game-worn, Marvel-designed Black Widow jerseys will be up for auction with proceeds going to Fast and Female to support girls in sports.

The fun continues through the night, with Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act from America’s Got Talent as the halftime show, and the West Concourse Beer Gardens hosting a live DJ and games.

Tour the murals of the Beltline

BUMP Festival is Calgary’s street art festival-turned-movement that works with local, national and international artists to reclaim and reimagine Calgary’s public spaces through art.

Kicking off at the beginning of March, BUMP is hosting tours every Saturday and Sunday, showcasing 20+ murals in the Beltline to put a spotlight on Calgary’s murals.

Fort Calgary Women’s History Walk

This Sunday concludes the weekly Women’s History March put on by Fort Calgary. The one-hour walking tour on Fort Calgary lands celebrates the history of women’s contributions to Calgary. The tour looks back at women on the prairies, from First Nations and Métis women, to new settlers, and how they have been overlooked historically.
