Why Robinhood Wants British Customers

Robinhood became synonymous with a new generation of do-it-yourself investors in America. Now it wants to do the same abroad.

The digital brokerage on Thursday is opening a expect list for U.K. residents and will grant them early access to its trading app over the next several weeks, with full availability scheduled for early 2024. Robinhood joins other digital brokerages, including Webull and Public, that launched in the U.K. this year.
