Vorboss, a purpose-built network for London businesses, is introducing the Vorspin, and has become the first telecoms company to design a cargo e-bike kitted out to splice fibre in the heart of London.

The Vorspins are pedal and electric powered, can fit on pavements, and house all the tools and equipment needed to connect customers to the Vorboss network.

From concept to operational in nine months, their exterior custom design has been patented and the vehicles also feature a new pull-out workspace for technicians to carry out their work seamlessly.

Vorboss is leading the way to confront the Mayor of London’s goals on clean air and reduced congestion.

In accordance with the Mayor’s aim to achieve net zero emissions by 2030, Vorboss is on a mission to make fibre installations more sustainable whilst speeding up the efficiency of their technicians.

Adapting an e-bike design made popular by last-mile delivery companies, Vorboss has introduced customisations which allow technicians to quickly react to jobs.

By reducing the number of its vans on the road, Vorboss also minimises the burden of unloading and parking on the streets of London. Initially, there will be 10 Vorspin bikes on the road, each covering a 100km area.
