planned $69 billion acquisition of VMware. Chinese regulators are considering whether to delay approval of the megadeal, according to a report in The Financial Times Thursday. Opposition is considered a response to the U.S. government’s recent trade restrictions on sales of advanced semiconductors and chip gear in China. Broadcom says it intends to close the acquisition on Oct. 30.
