Ukrainian special forces have launched an attack in Russia’s Tula region as drones targeted the Shcheglovsky Val plant, which “manufactures the Pantsir air defense system.”
In the cities of Orel and Smolensk air defence systems kicked as the drones flew over which then hit the factory that also develops guided weapons for ground forces, quick-firing cannons and small arms, the Kyiv Post reported.
Telegram channels reported that as a result of the Ukrainian drone attacks “loud explosions and fire” was reported at the weapons Shcheglovsky Val plant.

Sota said on Telegram, “In Tula, the Shcheglovsky Val plant, which also manufactures the Pantsir air defense system, appears to have been impacted.
“The explosions were captured on video.”
“A significant explosion and fire took place in the Proletarian district. The Shcheglovsky Val plant is situated there, producing, among other things, Pantsir-S complexes,” added the VCHK OGPU channel.
At the Russian Baltic Port of Ust-Luga, the regional governor said that a fire broke out at the natural gas terminal on Sunday morning.
The terminal is Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer which is 70 miles west of Vladimir Putin’s home town of St Petersburg.
Leningrad region governor Aleksandr Drozdenko, posted on Telegram, “[There are] no casualties as a result of a fire at Novatek’s terminal in the port of Ust-Luga. Personnel were evacuated.
“A high alert regime has been introduced in the Kingiseppsky district (which includes the port).”
