Sensodyne maker Haleon are to close their only manufacturing site in the UK and hundreds of jobs will be lost.

Haleon who make Sensodyne toothpaste and Advil painkillers will close their factory in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Haleon will close their factory over a phased programme over the next two years and the plans are being consulted.

There is around 2,000 staff who work for Haleon in the UK and some of the workers will be transferred to Slovakia.
