The British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is in Israel and has met with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the escalating Israel-Hamas war.
On Thursday Sunak flew to Israel and the British Prime Minister will then travel to Saudi Arabia to meet with the influential Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Netanyahu has said the 7 October attacks which killed 1,400 Israelis was carried out by Hamas terrorists is to destabilise the expansion of peace in the Middle East.
The Israeli Prime Minister has called on Sunak to continue supporting Israel with the looming offensive in Gaza.

Netanyahu told Sunak at a meeting in Jerusalem, “We were on the cusp of expanding that peace, and destroying that move was one of the reasons why this action was taken.”
He add, “This is our darkest hour.
“That means that this is a long war, and we’ll need your continuous support.”
Sunak said in a televised meeting, “We will stand with you in solidarity with your people and your right to defend yourself, to bring security back to your country, to your people, to ensure the safe return of the hostages that have been taken.
“Palestinians are victims of what Hamas has done. It’s important that we continue to provide humanitarian access.”
