Martin Lewis has issued a scathing assessment of the rules imposed on benefits claimaints by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
The founder of Money Saving Expert clashed with Chancellor Jeremy Hunt on ITV’s Good Morning Britain as the cash-savvy journalist stepped up to present the show on Wednesday.
Mr Lewis branded various rules for Carer’s Allowance claimants “ridiculous” and “nonsense” and demanded action to stop people who accidentally work too many hours being penalised.
