Israel has been warned by the US intelligence and their allies that an attack is “imminent” which comes after an Iranian general was killed at a consulate building in Damascus, Syria.

On Wednesday Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised yet again to retaliate against Israel.
Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacob,who cited anonymous intelligence sources, posted on X, “US and allies believe major missile and drone strikes by Iran and its proxies against military and govt targets in Israel are imminent; civilian facilities not expected to be targeted, sources told @donatopmancini and me.

“The attack may not necessarily come from Israel’s north.
The US President said, “We also want to address the Iranian threat to launch a significant – they’re threatening to launch a significant attack in Israel.
“As I told Prime Minister Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel’s security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad. Let me say it again, iron-clad – all we can to protect Israel’s security.”
The London based Elaph News has reported citing a “Western security official” that Israel have been doing air force exercises in preparation for attack Iranian nuclear sites.
Over the last week Israel has been on alert expecting an attack from Tehran in retaliation to the death of the Iranian general.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a security cabinet meeting that he will respond against Iran if they are attacked.
Netanyahu said, “Iran has been acting against us for years directly and via proxies. And, therefore, Israel acts against Iran and its proxies defensively and offensively.”
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Israel is ready to respond to any attack and they have “completed preparations for a response against any scenario that would develop against Iran.”
As a result Tehran have placed their military on “full high alert” against any air strikes from Israel.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told Israeli troops this week, “In this war, we are being attacked from more than one front… from different directions. Any enemy that tries to attack us, will first of all be met with a strong defence.
“But we will know how to react very quickly with a decisive offensive action against the territory of whoever attacks our territory, no matter where it is, in the entire Middle East. We have this ability.”
