The leading UK and European parcel delivery company DPD (part of the Geopost international parcel delivery company), has topped Martin Lewis’s Money Saving Expert’s parcel delivery satisfaction poll for the ninth time.
DPD, who work directly in partnerships with retailers to deliver parcels to consumers across Europe, was one of the parcel delivery companies included in the recent Money Saving Expert (MSE) poll. The poll, in which 8,000 members of the UK public took part in on Martin Lewis’s site, asked people to rate their experiences with parcel delivery firms. The survey was conducted just after the Christmas delivery peak, and it asked the public to rate the performance, experience, and reliability of all major UK parcel delivery firms, based on their own personal experiences of getting parcels shipped to their postcode throughout 2023. It aimed to find the most reliable parcel delivery firm on any given day.
The MSE Poll rates parcel delivery firms from the best to the unfortunate worst, based on the percentage of ‘Great’ and ‘OK’ votes they received from the public vote. The survey awards two points per ‘great’ percentage point and one point per ‘OK’ percentage point.
Clear of the pack, DPD successfully finished the clear overall winner with 54.8% of voters rating DPD services as ‘great’, with DPD sister company DPD Local just shortly behind with 53.6%. Behind DPD, ‘Great’ scores for other major carriers included 41.1% for Royal Mail, 32.7% for Yodel and 28.3% for Evri.
