To pair your third-generation Alexa Voice Remote with your Echo Show 15, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open the settings menu on your Echo Show 15, which you can do by saying “Open Settings” or selecting “Settings” after swiping down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap “Fire TV Settings.”
  3. Tap “Fire TV Remotes.”
  4. Tap “Add a new remote.”
  5. Turn your attention to the remote, where you should press and hold the “Home” button for at least 10 seconds, with the Echo Show telling you once it’s found the remote.
  6. Tap the name of the remote in question on the Echo Show.

That’s it! From that point on, you should be able to use your Alexa Voice Remote with your Echo Show the same way that you would a more traditional Fire TV device. recollect, though: If you used an existing remote that you had previously paired with a different Fire TV device, then you will need a second remote to take care of that device because each remote can only be paired to one device at a time. Each Fire TV device, though, can be paired with multiple remotes.
