Italy seizes ~€779M from Airbnb over allegedly unpaid taxes, after reportedly investigating Meta earlier this year regarding an alleged ~€870M in unpaid VAT  —  Italy’s Finance Police is seizing about €779 million ($835 million) from the home-sharing company Airbnb Inc. after it allegedly failed to pay some taxes.
