A convoy of ambulances has been hit in an Israeli strike “transporting wounded” Palestinians killing and further injuring many.
The Hamas run Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said on Friday afternoon multiple have been killed close to the close the Al-Shifa hospital which is the largest in the territory.
In a statement the Gazan government said, Israeli forces targeted “a convoy of ambulances which was transporting the wounded.”

AFP journalists inside Gaza said that they saw a damaged ambulance and multiple bodies at the horrific scene.
People heading south of the Gaza who were acting on Israels orders were hit in an Israeli strike which killed 14 Palestinians fleeing the north which is under a heavy and intense bombardment.
The Health Ministry’s spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said in a statement, “The occupation committed a new massacre against displaced civilians and killed 14 citizens, children and women.”
Also on Friday afternoon the French Institute was hit in an Israeli strike and the French Foreign Ministry said that no injuries were reported amongst their staff.
The French Ministry has asked Israeli authorities to provide “tangible” reason for targeting their institute “without delay.”
In a separate statement they said that they have “very strong concerns” over the soaring number of Palestinians being killed daily.
The Health Ministry in Gaza reported more than 9,227 Palestinians have been killed including 3,826 children as a direct result of Israeli strikes since 7 October.
